Market Development Representative

RxBenefits is hiring! We are adding a Market Development Representative to our growing Marketing team. This role will make outbound calls and handle inbound Marketing leads for the RxBenefits national footprint to schedule quality meetings between the prospect and the RxBenefits Business Development Executive. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to identify the business needs of prospects and translate into a scheduled meeting for the Business Development Executive. This role will require frequent telephone use and computer skills for emailing and documenting Salesforce. The right candidate is a quick learner who is resourceful and who has the drive to succeed in bringing in and qualifying business leads.

Responsibilities

Manage Inbound and Outbound Leads – Engage with inbound prospects to identify the business needs and translate that information into a scheduled meeting with the Business Development Executive. Call/Email current Salesforce contacts to connect with and share the RxBenefits Value Prop/Elevator Pitch. Engage in conversation that discovers what is important to the Benefit Advisor and the issues/concerns the Benefit Advisor is trying to solve for their client(s), leading to a scheduled meeting with the Business Development Executive. Research current firms in Salesforce to find additional valid contacts within the firm. Work closely with the Business Development Executive to help ensure Claims Files are received post meeting.

Communicate value - Learn the RxBenefits offering and be able to articulate the benefits and most importantly the value to your prospects.

Refine process - Determine what’s working and what isn’t to help to refine our lead management process. You will provide feedback to the Demand Generation Marketing team to help ensure we’re reaching the right organizations and right people.

  • Qualify prospect as a good lead by ensuring they work with self-funded clients and have clients with an average number of lives of 100 or greater. Use discovery to identify what is important to the Benefit Advisor.
  • Promotes and positions the strategic & tactical values of RxBenefits’ solution offerings
  • Provide Business Development Executive with lead’s information gathered during the call.
  • Schedule a Face to Face meeting, Virtual Face to Face meeting or a Webex between the prospect and Business Development Executive.
  • Research, qualify, manage and track leads and related lead generating activities in Salesforce
  • Develop internal positive working relationships with all areas of marketing, Business Development Executives, and Regional Directors.

  • Ability to make 26+ outbound calls and send out multiple targeted emails daily utilizing the sales enablement tool, Revenue.io.

Preferred:


  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • 2+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience

Technical / professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of outbound B2B sales experience OR a combination of work experience and education
